What was the "dog leash" length section of rope? Was it a 28' off section in case you need to go to the dark side and run 28?

Love the 361/2' loop idea! And the prototype with arm guard is exactly what we need from a handle manufacturer!

Horton the unknown rope is a boat tie down. Your near guess was correct. Tie down works pretty well at tournys with inadequate dock tie downs.

I don't drink much beer, but I had the impression you want to keep it COLD usually?

Cool stuff, though. I gotta go order some new Brenda handles!

@Than_Bogan‌ not always. if I were in Antarctica and drinking a fine English beer I would one keep it from getting too cold.

I'd be a disaster doing live unrehearsed videos. But that doesn't mean it isn't fun to make fun of you!

Good point about Antarctica, though. I stand corrected.

not for nothing, but looking at your left pant cuff i was wondering who dresses you. standard rules are for shoes -toes go in first and for pants -foot goes through bottom hole so you did get the shoes right :)

I skied with the new In Tow handle last night. Time it took to be comfortable changing from US Gear to In Tow ARS = One pass.

So for like my stuff from her. Cant wait to try the traning loops
  • HortonHorton Posts: 24,469 Administrator
The darn training loop is killing me.... I CRUSHED a 36.5 pass tonight. I even did a wrong hand reach / hand drag around 6 ball.

As expected my brain knows 36.5 is easy and ya know I sucked as soon as I went all the way to 38 off.

Well so the loop is awesome but I am a head case

I don't want to minimize the extent to which you (and I) are headcases, but 11.625 really is quite a bit easier than 11.25. Consider that while it's "only" a 37cm difference, the gap between -38 and -39 is "only" 50cm. For somebody at that boundary (e.g. me), those 50cm might as well be a 100m cliff.

Indeed, even though I still only run -38 on a really good day, I'm definitely thinking about getting an 11m loop, because 10.75m is completely out of reach. I need some type of stepping stone to start to figure something out -- currently it's just a total mess of a 1-ball followed by a pitiful attempt to get somewhere near the 2 ball. I have no expectation that I can run 11m, but maybe I'll be slightly less outclassed by it and can learn something.

@Than_Bogan‌ that pass I ran last night was proof to me that it is lastly mental.

Those 1/2 loops are great. I ran three 36 1/2 off passes today. I am not saying they were pretty passes but is it a stepping stone to running more 38s.
