2014 Carbon Pro Raw Water Strainer?????

oldmanskieroldmanskier Posts: 128 Baller
My 2014 Carbon Pro does not have a Raw Water strainer. Every inboard I have owned (except for my 78 Mastercraft) and all our club boats since 1997 had a strainer. I bought a Sherwood from skidim and will install this weekend. Our lake has major weed and lake scum issues in the spring so I need one. I know of another 2014 Carbon Pro owner who also did not have a strainer.
Just wondering if any Carbon Pros come with Raw Water strainers?
Thanks.

Some brands just don't put them in. Malibu generally has not put them in, unless they started doing so recently.

A little surprised as nautique seems to do so and also runs pcm motors. We couldn't get by on our lake without one.

one of the reasons that the CP is a less expensive ski boat, if you need one for your lake they are simple to install

I think they may have started putting them on in '15, my '16 order sheet lists the strainer as standard and a flush kit as an additional $350.
