Switching feet possible or impossible

Has anyone successfully switched feet meaning, gone from 32/35 off to better than that?

A friend of mine switched feet and skis as well now as he did before. More significantly, his chronic bad back stopped hurting all together.

He skis open water, but he's a good skier.

Alan Podawiltz slaloms left foot and tricks right foot. He was M2 Regional overall champion for a couple years.

Switch feet if you have a good reason. With training, you can make it work.

I'm completely lame LFF so I doubt I could do it.

I start with the rope on the "wrong" side of my ski... LFF, rope on the left side of the ski.

One weekend, I tried switching to start with the rope on the right. Maybe with a lot of practice I could make it work... But it wasn't happening over the course of a weekend.

I can't even imagine attempting to switch feet. Major kudos to anyone who can pull that off.
