How often do some of you replace the release mechanism of your Reflex system given rust on the horseshoe bar and any other wear and tear? Similarly, what are some of the signs of wear and tear you watch for?

Reflex recommends a 2 Year interval in fresh water and a 1 year in brackish/salt water.
Mine is in it's second season and I'm planning to replace it at the end of the season with the new stainless release.
Per Reflex HP it will fit the older style boots/plates.

@DavidN, thanks. I am at two years and this explains why I see enough wear to ask.
