8-buoy course with ZO - mapping.
After dropping some test buoys this weekend to mimic an 8-ball course, we have decided to convert our existing course to get the extra set up time.
Does anybody know how Zero Off course mapping works with an 8-ball course?

Great question. There may not be an easy solution.

Maybe this helps...looks like overlapping 8 buoy course is one of the options
, definitely helps! Didn't see that in the manual on ZO website. Will give it a try this week. Thanks!
With a Nautique, when you start the mapping process, it will ask you (or let you select) the type of course. The first one you see is a “6 buoy” as that is the default. I believe you can select the ‘right arrow’ to choose otherwise. Try this.

i saw a video semi recently of Samantha Dumala running a 8 ball course behind a nautique. Not sure if i can dig it up ( not a social media guy) but im quite sure it can be done and some top level people are using it.
It’s relatively easy to do. I’ve had one mapped before. No problems.
The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
When mapping a course the ZO will ask you 6 ball or 8 ball. All you have to do is hit the up or down arrow.
