Heaviest Skier To Run -41

Does anyone have an answer on this? I started thinking about the weight vs boat equation and how much extra weight must hurt skiers trying to to get down -41. I'm thinking Parish would be the largest / heaviest but I have no idea what he would wight in at. At some point north of 210 - 220 the weight has to be a really really big disadvantage making -41 almost impossible unless you have a seriously dialed in ski / setup. It seems in the modern era that smaller guys are getting it done and despite better equipment, new ZO, ropes, skis we are still not seeing many big skiers getting into -43.

CP probably. That is of course if you are talking man speed!

Isn’t Ben Favret pretty heavy in terms of the -41 club?

When Nate first hit the scene a number of pros went on crazy diets to try to get as light as Nate. Year's later Pros all want to be light but put more focus on strength. Point is light is good but not holy grail.

(I am always trying to be lighter but not trying hard enough)

Freddie Winter isn't a small person. Parish has the height, but Freddie is still fairly tall, and I think a little bulkier.

Think Fred is pretty lean right now.

Fred is around 190, and would have never really broken 200.

Stephen Neveu is a big guy. Listed at 215 or so. I don't think he has run 41 but he has been into 41 a few times.

I didn’t say fat @liquid d!! And to be lumped it the same group as CP and Freddie I would say is pretty bada$$. I like Ben and respect him a lot, he’s helped me along the way. But evidently @lpskier doesn’t think so.

Why did you give me a disagree for the post that Kellander set his record around 1988?
