    Gotta say that I think the question is too broad. If it feels close, 2-3/1000. If it feels way off, 10-20/1000.

    While I accept the possibility that 1/1000" can change the performance of the ski, I'm not willing to tune to that level. I'd rather just adapt my skiing from there.

    Also, I believe I've pointed out here before that temperature swings that could realistically occur in one day can be enough to affect the 1/1000ths (thanks to expansion or contraction of aluminum), so if you really need that level of tuning, then you kinda have to spend your life doing it.

    That's not for me.
