boat prop question
I have a 1980 ski nautique,I would like to find out what prop would give me the flatest wake for slalom skiing any help? 4 blade? Three blade? 540?208?

We switched out a 3 blade on a Hydrodyne to a 4 blade Oj and overall performance was improved for hole shot and wake smoothness.
I don't think a prop will necessarily flatten a wake, but can take some harshness out of it.

Prop has very little to do with wake. I'm running a 540 on my 76 Ski. Seems to me the rooster tail diminished some but very minor. Go with the 540 anyways, it'll really make that boat feel young.
thanks for replys , u guys know about the wake tamer?
The rooster on my 80 sn is bad.fells like somebodys body slamming me @ 22 off
In our experience, we have seen certain props that make roosters that absolutely destroy the skier. Visibly an order of magnitude larger.
