Mapple Torque and Radar Sequence Plate

ChadWChadW Posts: 99 Baller
Does anyone know if the Radar Sequence Plate would effectively reduce the torsional flex of a Mapple Torque?

It is not the plate/boot area that flexes. It is the tip and tail..tip more so if I understood Andy correctly. If the thick plates I used with the T1 had any affect on the ski, I'm sure he would have mentioned it. Bet it's not even a little bit of a concern.

I'm using a Sequence Plate on a T2 and have not noticed any difference.

Thanks guys. @Wish explained to me the box on the torque actually adds stiffness, allowing the tip and tail can flex more. With that being the case, I would guess the sequence plate wouldn't have a negative effect. I was under the false assumption the box was where the "twisting" was occurring.

@mike_mapple I was under the impression that the flex was under the feet were the rails are?
