Changing Starter 2004 SN196

Posted a week or so ago , trouble shooting confirmed now it's the starter ... Any hints from anyone that changed one themselves ??

    I haven't changed a starter on that particular boat but have changed starters on tons of ski boats and cars. It's almost always very straight forward and held on with 2 bolts. Grab a socket wrench and a long socket extension to get around the starter body and you'll have the old one out and new one in in about 15-20 minutes. If the wires aren't straight forward, take a picture before you pull it.
