All time Big Dawg wins?

Anyone know who has the most wins for Big Dawg tourneys? Also who has the most overall wins in the final? I know they keep a lot of stats about the number of 38s, 39s and scores at 41 but I don't recall seeing who has the most wins.
Pulled Horton [email protected] and didn't even get a lousy BOS t-shirt.

I believe that Ben Favret and Greg Badal are the only skiers who have won two overall titles.

For stop wins, I would bet its Chad

@Bruce_Butterfield I think I know. He has the same first name as another Big Dawg stop winner.

That would be our friend, Bruce, the infamous Chad Baker. A legend in his own mind......er, time, and a nearby DFW skier. Tell him Hoov says hey.

If I am not mistaken, at that time, the big three boat companies all were involved. Skiers had the choice of which brand to ski behind.

Completely forgot about Mr. Baker. Super guy! Sorry Chad!

I thought it was Mike Morgan with the first win.

I checked with Chad Scott, he thinks he has 6 stop wins but no final.

    The first few winners were:

    2004 Chad Baker
    2005 Scott Larson
    2006 Mike Morgan
    2007 Greg Badal
    2008 Ben Favret

The first year had a 3 round qualifier with each of the big 3 boats pulling a round.
Chet Raley was the expected favorite and top seed going into the head to head, but fell early and was eliminated by the 16th seed in the first round, so he started the top seed jinx that has hit so many.

The first year also had a lot of anticipation since whatshisname the cheating dentist entered early but cancelled a week before due to an "injury".

Hey what happened to Jeremy? He was on fire that year but I don't recall hearing his name since.

@Than_Bogan He did win the 45+ world title last year. He also battles pretty bad back issues.

@Than_Bogan Jez was one of the top contenders at the finals last year and lost to Greg in the final round. Up to that point I think he ran 39 in both qualifying rounds and in the first 3 pairings of the H2H. I think he just missed 39 against Greg and Badal knocked it down to win. Also, got to go out and celebrate after and Jez came along. He is a great guy as well.

Almost everyone chose to ski behind the 196 at the initial Ohio event so MC/MB pulled out and CC eventually picked it up as the title sponsor.

Yes, the 196 was a superior pull at that time...and it was Greg's and set up sweet..and available for practice too.

Back then 38 was the line needed to be run and Greg and USA Miller would play "who let the dogs out" when it was run. I think Baker averaged [email protected] to win it
Got pretty sick of hearing the song and soon it took 39 to get it played.

Crazy how good these guys are having to run 39 again and again to get it done.
