How the heck do we get to Maize Kansas?

HortonHorton Posts: 27,900 Administrator
I ask Google for flights from in LAX to Wichita and the internet just laughs at me. Is there a trick or are all the flights a mess?

    OKC, Tulsa or Kansas City are your best bets

    Qualify, go to Regionals, register, get a place to stay, rent a car and book a flight. Pretty straightforward.

    Wichita is a reasonably large city with lots of flight options. Southwest had several flights from San Diego. Bakersfield might be somewhat limited but Burbank should have service. You give up too easily.

    Get that MM trick qualification and go - no excuses.

    Southwest fly's to Wichita, as do other major airlines. OKC, KC, or even Manhattan, KS may have some additional options.

    @Horton Excuses.

    @Dirt skied a couple trick tournaments. Hope he tricks there. That will show you.

    I tried the new Radar trick. Wonderful ski! @Dirt should borrow yours.

    @Horton Wichita using Southwest or Allegiant Air is your best bet.

    @thager - that's how you get OUT of Kansas, not in.

    Fly to Kansas City, rent a car and drive to Wichita. Did it before, see the rolling hills of the heartland.

    @Horton I'm not the one asking how to get to Kansas! There's the airplane, car, motorcycle, Camper, etc., not to mention GPS, road maps, and Triple A just to name a few.
    Oklahoma City is closer to Wichita. Give that a try. >:)

    Looks like Southwest goes STL to Wichita multiple times a day. Reasonable prices currently for most days of Nationals.
