So I have a question regarding the section about 20 minutes in where they discuss the common complaint the “wakes are too big” or “I’m getting bucked at the wake”. I understand that it is a body position issue but some boats, ie, non tournament boats, ie, older direct drives, spit out a significant bump, steep and hard with lots of trough on both sides. would a proficient skier with nice body position not still get a bounce or would they say wow that wake is really tough? Further to that thought is the pulling through the wakes bit. Can a good skier actually pull through the wake of a late 90s cross over direct drive?
@lefty It is not a yes / no answer. If you think the wakes behind modern boats are bad they are saying it is more you than the ski. Not to say small wakes are not important.
