Our club has a new prostar and it will not fill up with gas fast, like it used to. As we fill up with gas, it tries to overflow or bubble out of the tank fillup spot. Any suggestions to get it to fill up fast again, would be nice.
Do not want you to blow yourself up, do not do this if you cannot do soldering.
But hint. There is a 12v power socket on every MC right by the fuel tank. A simple small fuel transfer pump is 12 V.
A replacement stern light is say 20 bucks.
Add some fuel hose a small pump and some wire and essentially you can set a can on the dock, plug in a stern light stick the hoses into the tank and the can and flip on your lights and transfer a can in seconds.
My light pole fits in 5 of our family boats.... Transfers about 15 GPM, and if you have enough hose to go down to the bottom of the tank on both sides I can both fill and drain my boats. The output side of my pump is filtered.
