Water ski and the beach

Hello from France,
I am looking for a place to ski in October 2022.
My wife will be having foot surgery one month before so she will not be able to ski.
So I am looking for a place where I can ski and where she can swim in the sea.
So the ski must be not too far from the sea....
Saint Martin in the French West Indies was such a place but the ski school has closed recently.
Do you have any idea where we could go ?
Any place like that in Florida ? In Mexico ?
Thank you for your help.
Season has just started today for us in Paris with a 58 degrees water temp and a sunny day.

    Since you are French this may appeal to you. Edenskilake.com is owned and operated by a French family. It is close to Ft. Myers Florida and the beaches.

    At least thats what they advertise...
    Hobby Boats can be expensive when the hobbyist is limited on their own skill and expertise.

    Pickos Ski School in Santa Rosa Beach is probably the closest to a beach in Florida.

    Trophy Lakes and Kiawah in Charleston, SC is an unbeatable combo. But October may be too late in the year.

    Although I agree on Destin, Hobe Lake in Hobe Sound would have better temperatures in October, as well as very good coaching.

    October is arguably the best month of the year to ski in Charleston, SC. Trophy Lakes is 20 minutes to both Kiawah and Folly Beach!

    Stinky's is a great spot for fresh fish year round. Also the Red Door in Grayton Beach is the perfect after ski watering hole. One of my 'All Time Favs' is Basmati's Asian Fusion in Blue Mountain Beach. There are more great restaurants along 30A than you can hit in a week.
