He has at least 3 more years to be added to the short list of teenagers who won SLALOM in the Masters or World tournaments. (there have been many trick skiers)

I would bet on Charlie being added to this list

I've heard from two different sources that this record will not be ratified. It does not please me that Charlie doesn't get the record but it definitely pleases me that every T is being crossed and every I is being dotted.

Charlie is so young and so talented I imagine he'll just do it again very soon. ( I'm assuming he gets that talent from his mother :-)

@Horton Well Charlie definitely also has serious skiing linage on his mother’s side, between grandfather Ed, and uncle Clay, Neill.

Yeah, I heard Saturday that there was a boat path problem. And it was known immediately. So???

@LeonL I don't know. I can only speculate. I can imagine a situation where surepath was not working but video was running so a path deviation would not be immediately known. I'm absolutely not saying this is what happened but don't want to assume some malfeasance.

Charlie Ross did it again! [email protected] at the MC Open in Clermont Florida. Sure Path numbers good. Rope measures good. Unofficial record but I’d say it’s looking good! Now that’s what I call more cowbell, Charlie!
