New skier needs BIG boots/bindings. (Size 15 wide, tall)

My 6'3", 195# son is finally interested in skiing but has outgrown the stock boots on our old skis. He wears a 15 wide/extra wide shoe and has a very high instep too so his feet are massive.

Any boot/binding options out there suitable for a beginner (who may progress rapidly but we can deal with that later)?
If nothing factory, any hacks to make something work? Binding safety is a concern but for now we just want him to be able to get up, learn to drop or slalom.

Happy 4th and THANKS!

Sounds like you’ll need custom everything. I would contact Wiley’s and ask them to make something for you. If that fails, try Lucky Lowe.

I thought a Radar Vector might be big enough but they list the XL only going up to 14. Give Wiley’s Water Sports a call. They have an XXL size and probably could advise you on a solution.

Somehow I have two ski friends with size 15 feet and both worked with Wiley’s to get something that fits well. They are reasonable with custom requests.
