    1) Only concentrate on changing "ONE THING" at a time.

    2) When setting a new ski up "BINDINGS FIRST" AND "FIN SECOND."

    3) Stay in your "LEVERAGED POSITION" during your edge change.

    4) COM "Center of Mass" in the direction of travel.

    5) "NEVER" "EVER" criticize your Wifes driving !!!!!

CP watched me ski my opening pass at 28 off (my first receipt of real coaching) when I was in M2 at 36 mph, and said "Dude, I love your intensity...but you don't have to be 90 degrees to the boat path at ALL TIMES".

Don't listen to MS! I think that came from JTH, Skidawg or JD. : )
Ski like it's your last pass ever. It might be. Enjoy!!

"Everything that happens in slalom depends on what you did the instant before". Circa 1982. I still think about this almost every set.

Dont buy a ski based on the size of your wallet. I have a small/thin wallet. Still taking donations for that new ski. Anyone.... :-)

Relax your hands around the turn. If you cannot open your hand and have the handle stay there, you are not free of the boat. Taught to me by Carl Peterson.

Do you see in this video how Andy Mapple skis? Look at it, understand that he is the only guy in the world that skis this style and that you will never be capable of doing it so don't try! Schnitzer 1997

If it were this simple. My problem is that it is the synthesis over the years of countless ski tips to suit my particular ski style, along with watching and learning from what better skiers do, that has made the biggest difference over time. So perhaps the best tip I've ever gotten is, "watch, listen, learn, and then integrate it all into your own personal ski style" . . . and never quit trying things and learning things!

You can't teach an old dawg new tricks. Don't try it, it will only make the dawg mad. Find a ski that fits the dawg's style' don't try to fit the dawg to the ski's style.

How you start the pass is how you end the pass. Which means I am usually fast and narrow!

Don't worry about one bad ball (or pass). When it goes right try to remember what you did.
