Jimmy Jackson Photo on BOS

Nice picture from the Old Days of Jimmy. This would have been shot at Cypress Gardens, in a staged photo shoot, not in an actual competition. Comments about the equipment and the body position? How would today's top jumpers do with that setup?! Note left palm is down on the handle. The note on the cover about a record is the 46.5m distance (153') set at the 1966 Masters, and is the first World Record recognized in Men Jumping. See: http://www.iwsf.com/history/displayrecords.php and scroll down. The US records started earlier, in 1947. See: http://www.awsasouth.org/history/NatRecordBook1.3.pdf and PageDown to page 9.
