A3 sizing

I'm thinking of trying a A3 Iv'e been skiing a A1 66.5 and have really enjoyed it. Wondering what the current ski is like. I see sizing charts all over the board on this ski some show 66 as 120-190 others show 66 120-160 I'm between 165-170 skiing 34mph so which is best? 66 or 67?

I started the summer at 172# and weigh closer to 180# now. The 66" is still working well for me.

I'm 210 and the 67 A3 was too small for me. Would sell very cheap if interested.

I was skiing the A1 67.5 and have switched to the A3 67. 190 lbs skiing 33 MPH sometimes 34 15 off. The A3 is a completely different beast than the A1. I am still trying to figure out the best boot fin set up for my style of bad skiing. As Horton said in his review the offside turn when you do it right is pretty sweet. I seem very able to do it wrong 95% of the time though. Always a good excuse to go to Florida to get some lessons.
Not sure I know what I am doing. The boat goes I follow. Trying to perfect the deep water start. Squirrel!
  • At your weight, I'd go with the 66 A3.
