That has gotten be the sweetest color boat out there. Phenomonal skiing at -41? Not sure who it is or what the ski is - but they know how to get it done!
That's a weird rope. The black is attached the pylon, so normally that would be -39. But the next section is red (normally -43), and both the black and the red seem considerably too long.
Visually, the skiing looks more like -38 to me, although I suppose that could be because he's making it LOOK easier than it is.
At the risk of veering off-topic, am I just confused about what a rope is supposed to look like at that point? Shouldn't there be black(-39), gray(-41), red(-43)?
And the length of the sections is: black: 10.75 - 10.25 = 0.5m grey: 10.25 - 9.75 = 0.5m red: 9.75 - 9.5 = 0.25m
So the red (when present) should be an almost-goofy looking 1/4 m section, or about 10 inches.
Unless I'm not seeing it right (which is totally possible of course), the rope in the video is not similar to the above.
That doesn't mean anything sketchy is going on -- it only means we can't guess the rope length by relying on the colors.
@Horton I have never been in the boat when someone ran 41 so my comment was an honest question. I made my comment only watching the first couple of passes. I thought given the length of the rope the skier would have been higher on the boat. I had no idea who it was when I posted my comments.

Looks like Freddy at 39 and 41.
